I'm kind of new to Internet Marketing, and been thinking about writing a viral ebook to distribute for free to generate traffic. Have you ever used this method? And, has it worked for you to make money. Any veterans of the Internet Marketing game, please reply!

I placed a few feelers about Internet Marketing, particularly viral marketing on myLot. I was surprised by the lack of response. To me this means one of two things: no interest or no knowledge. If the reason is no knowledge, then there's a huge opportunity. Viral marketing has been on my mind for some time. Please stay in contact.

I believe viral marketing is most misunderstood. What makes it viral? I also believe if marketing is not 'viral' you are missing a great advantage. You catch it if you are exposed to it. like the freebies just for showing up, etc. Zig Ziglar, the world-renounded salesman, said something like, "I can't begin to believe someone doesn't have to have what I sell". This is not a verbatim statement, but the gist is to find something someone already wants. Ewan Chia states that the first thing in marketing is to find a market.

Finally! Someone that speaks the same language that I do, and hangs around the same people. I am very familiar with both Ewan Chia (have several of his ebooks) and Zig Ziglar. He's part of my permanant library too. Both have excellent points of view on viral marketing. I have been thinking of putting out several "viral" ebooks that contain both useful information and my affiliate links/links to back end deals. I think I read about that viral technique in one of Aurelius Tjin's ebooks. He said that he grew his opt in list to 50,000 and over $10,000 monthly, using Viral ebooks one technique alone. And, it took him about six months. So its certainly an area that I want to explore more in depth. Thanks for taking the time to add an intelligent response. Very much appreciated. I would love to talk to you more on this subject, as you seem very knowledgeable. So please come back here soon to post again.

Hi : Instead of thinking it as viral marketing, which sounds like a virus, I was thinking you are trying to create value eg. sharing of internet marketing tactics packaged in a e-book. That, to me, is a win-win situation. Yours Truly, Tony Chai 29-Steps SEO Techniques DVD that you can watch again and again. Only US188/- http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/?Clk=1985295
