Small business owners and advertising

This is a question for all of you small business owners out there. Now when I say small business owners I'm not talking about people who do ptr or gpt sites, I'm talking about real businesses. What do you all do for advertising? My fiance runs a computer repair business and we are trying to think of more creative ways to advertise the business. Don't get me wrong word of mouth has been working great and we have had very sucessful business the past 3 years (enough so that I don't have to work and can stay home with our daughter). But we are wanting to branch out more and try new things. So far my fiance has been a member of BNI which has created great referrals, he has put ads in our local paper and has a great website. What has been your most sucessful form of advertisement? We are willing to invest a little money as long as we see good paying customers from it.
