Right now there is a radio station that gives $100 an hour just for listening. You enter their work force. Name address and phone number. Then you listen for your name. If and when they call it you call them. If you call within ten minute you will be on their work force. Then in the next hour they call a new name. You stay on their work force till someone else hears their name and calls in. So each hour someone doesn't call in you make $100 The most I've seen won so far is $1,500. That means alot of people who signed up were not listening when their name was called. Right now I am listening trying to win. The station is called. KGON in Portland, Or.
Have you ever tried to win a radio contest?? Have you ever won anything?

The radio station I listen to has a contest every now and then that when they play a certain song, if your the tenth caller, you'll win $100.00. In the pst two years I've won twice. It was really cool except having to talk on the radio kind of makes me nervous. Take care, Terry

I've tried winning several things from Radio stations. The most I've got is a CD. Not really sure where the CD is now. Don't listen to it much.

I agree. Listning to the station then trying to get through on the phone. It is challenging

Good Luck Snow! We have a radio station here that has a contest where you listen for the sound of a jet, and when you do, you call in, and qualify for a trip. Well, I qualified and won. TWICE!!! I went to Jamaica, and Bermuda, it was fantasic. I won 2 years in a row, and I just managed to be within the guidelines, because you couldn't have won an other major prize in the past year. so, yes, people can win, but, I have to admit I would often qualify at night in the middle of night shift, and I think my odds were a little better to get through.

I have tried and won some prizes on the radio. I listen to a lot of sports talk radio, it comes with the freelance work that I do covering sports, and they are always giving away some prizes on our local stations... I have won tickets to sporting events, not to mention fan gear.
Money, however, is something that I have never won anywhere. It's hard enough out here, everyone is trying. It's never not worth the old college try, though, so sometimes I wills till call and try to win something. You never know about luck, right?

Hmmm... let's see... I won a small siver ingot on a chain with a radio station's call sign way back in 1974. A few years ago, my honey won $100 and a birthday cake when they announced her b-date on the air. A friend heard it and called her to tell about it. I won concert tickets 2 or 3 times, and runner-up t-shirts a couple of other times. It's definitely worth trying, somebody's gotta win.
Don't forget to use speed dial! Good luck!
