|  Lol, please don't take this the wrong way. It certainly gave me and my partner a good laugh.
Yesterday, we bought a little table top charcoal grill. I've wanted one for ever, but the area we live in is known for being a little bit rough. Stealing, in particular, is an issue, and so we wanted something that we could bring indoors once it's cooled down.
So, we buy the grill, and set it up, and start grilling. Whilst we were grilling, my partner brought out a chair for the plates. Now, this chair is what we used to use for the PC desk, and it's falling apart, to the extent that it wouldn't support anyone's weight. It's not even worthy of being junk.
After we had dinner, we headed indoors, closed the glass door and the curtains and watched a little bit of television. Later in the evening, we had to head out, and so, I figure okay, I'll bring the grill and everything in from outside. I go outside, and there's the grill, and everything we used, such as charcoal, lighter fluid, utensils - but no chair.
Some idiot had stolen the chair! With everything out there, it would have made far more sense to steal the grill and the accessories we bought to go with it, but no, they stole the one thing we've been meaning to get rid of because there was no further use for it LOL.
Telling my partner was awesome. The look on his face was priceless. We can't get over how DUMB some people can be, but at the same time, we would like to thank whoever took the chair off our hands. They did us a huge favor LOL.

| |  That is very funny, retardedrugrat, but also sad that you live in such an area.
A few years ago one of my best friends had to have some work done on his car, so he left it at the mechanic's shop for a few days. During that time the only transportation that he had was an old bicycle. He called and told me that he would be riding the bike around if he needed to go out. I offered him the loan of a car, but he said that the bike was fine, and that he was looking forward to a little exercise. He rode the bike to the Post Office and the Grocery store that day.
The next morning he called to tell me that his bike had been stolen. I laughed so hard that I couldn't breath. The thing is, this was the worse bike ever. It was stolen right out of his garage, and there were other things of more value in the garage. My friend lives in a very small community, and it's astounding that anyone would even happen by, much less steal his bike. Plus, the bike had been leaning against the side of his house for 9 years without being touched, then the one time he needed it, it was pinched!!
As funny as that is, I had an even bigger laugh three days later when he called to tell me that the bike had been returned!! He woke up, went outside, and there sat the bike.

We came home with new bedding, a bed frame on order, some new glasses, and a new light fixture for the bedroom. No PC desk though *rolls eyes*

| |  some one broke into my car once to steal my 200 cd player. they left about 500 cd, a 300 dollar camera and 60 dollars in cash in the ashtry. yeah, i was stupid for have all that stuff in my car anyway, but i was at a casino, a pubilc parking lot with lots of foot traffic, but breaking a window and ripping out the cd player took more time, and less profit, than the other things they could have taken!!!

Honestly, this is the first time we've had anything stolen, and we've never had any other problems while we've been here, apart from the stupid dumb ladies in the office about our kitchen sink :o)

Not only that, the grill was cold already too. Maybe they didn't want to run the risk of burning their hands, and so just didn't take the chance.

We couldn't see out, and they couldn't see in. It just astounds me that they took the chair and not the grill. The only thing I can think is that maybe they saw us using it beforehand and decided that it might still be too hot for them to handle. After all, a burn from a grill is a nasty burn. | | | |
