How Do You Look At A Gravy Train ?  

You can't get something for nothing. But, money is only a form of energy. And that energy can be affected by creations of the mind. Money can be attracted to yourself. It can come from seemingly effortless actions. Is it true that the harder you work the more money you make? Those that do pyhsical labor are rather poor. Those that use the mind and think of ideas with the use of imagination are much richer. It seems like they are doing little, but ideas create everything around us. As far as sitting back and collecting money for doing nothing, that is not agreeable, unless it is collecting residual payments like rent or interest.

There's also another old saying "If it is too good to be true, then it usually is".

It is hard to answer that,

generally speaking it takes work to make money but a lot of us do not know how to make money,

working d 9 to 5 in a sweat shop is not making money,

and someone can just play the stock market and make a lot of money really quickly.

so it is hard to say.

You are right but there is no activity or business where you can make money wihout any effort. Some effort has to put in to it. In one case it may be lot of effort. In some other case it may be less. There is nothing silly or commonplace in it. If the money is more than the effort or due to some other additionl factors then it easy money. And you are right that easy money go out easily. In my life there is no such case. Throughout my life I made more effort in comparison to what monet I made. It is the same situation in myLot here.

I have found that a lot of the people who are trying to get others to join their 'gravy train' are people who are not very rich. They have little to show for all the money making they are reporting. If they did,why would they be still working on the little man, they would go for the big fish, for instance by buying shares or property. It is said that money comes to money and I believe that to be true. Also to get you must give. Often those who drive the gravy train wish us to be the givers and them the getters and that is the end of the journey.
