Why is baldness more pronounced in males?

1) Will it be due to harmones?
2) Or, due to increased tension they have in their duties.

i think its genetic for man.because they have chromosomes X for woman and chromosomes Y for man,and for chromosomes Y is always problem for baldness, thats why its always for a man.
