I'm still partial to Coca-Cola or a really good cream soda!

Kinny lemonade which is made in Malta....... yummy.....

I can't stand rootbeer, the only time I can drink it is if it's a rootbeer float and the icream just overtakes the taste of it. Not sure why I don't like it, I think the flavor is just weird. I do like Dr. Pepper though. Guess it's kinda similiar.

Sprite was my all-time fave for many years, but Root Beer is now challenging that position. I have yet to determine a winner;)

Ramdev Baba from India is constantly telling to avoid the so called ‘cold drinks’ and ‘soft drinks’ that contain carbon dioxide dissolved in them. He calls one of these as ‘toilet cleaner’. Hope this will help you.

gildron, will you please tell me a little more about root beer. Here in India, the tribals prepare a kind of wine from rice to which some root is added to make it more strong, but I am sure it is not 'root beer'. I do not consume any type of soda, alcohol or the so called soft drinks and hard drinks. I prefer pure, sweetened cow milk instead. In my opinion even plain water is better than these drinks. So coke, sprite, fanta, pepsi, limca are all same for me. As a mother of three, now all adults, I never gave these to my kids. My grand children, all school going, also remain aloft of these harmful drinks. I give them, milk, ‘natural’ fruit juice, plain or with pulp type. They are guaranteed ‘not’ to contain any chemicals or preservatives. Thanks for the nice posting, ks.

I hate root beer, and love Sprite. Have you tried Sprite Zero? If not, I highly recommend it!

I think the Tropical Mix Sprite they used to make was much better. There was also another fruity flavored Sprite that was pretty good. Can't think of the name. Sierra Mist is better than Sprite. Not a huge fan of root beer. My all time favorite soda is OK soda though.

I think Sprite is way better than Root Beer,even though I have never liked Root Beer,I havent really drank it much before, but I have tried it,and I think it tastes kind of nasty.Sprite has a wondeful thirst quenching taste,and since it has no caffeine you dont have to worry about getting to much caffeine.
