lol... wasn't it Churchill who said something like this? I think it was, if you are not a Democrat at 25 you have no heart, if you are still a Democrat at 40 you have no head.

No, that's a misquote. I think your getting confused with the quote I give above.
What Churchill said was;
"It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried."

I think the government needs to protect industry a bit and capitalist interests if they want to use capitalism. And i think socialists should give their citizens capitalist system of rights whereby capitalist acts between consenting adults is allowed. I think capitalism to socialism is the right direction but I'm not convinced that either will answer societies problems.. in that sense maybe i am more capitalist, that the informed consumer will buy what they want to buy into and then shape their society so I think certain capitalist rights are required for meaningful justice. Capitalism is somewhat new here on earth and its being met with daily friction Tanya what do you think happens next?

I like the idea of everyone sharing everything equally but it will never happen as there will always be greedy people who will take advantage.
Pure capitalism is wrong in my opinion so as close as we can get to socialism as possible without things going wrong will do for me.

Well, I think I'll make a polemic answer once again, that is why I didn't post here before. I have escaped by chance from a comunist system, and now I live in a socialist system which is better of course, but which uses that regime as an ideal to follow and as a marketing flag in their propaganda.
I know capitalism has gone too far nowadays and the multinationals make of it something scary, but actually thoose enterprises are a bit against the original idea of capitalism.
The theoric capitalism just talks about freedom, and about letting each one develop himself to whatever he can be. I think this is great, if we respect each other.
The theoric comunism talks about revolutions, about the "dictatorship of the proletariat" and about people that become numbers ("equal") and work in slavery for the party and the dictator. I think this retoric is totally mean and inhumane.
I don't think there is an actual theoric socialism, it is just a tradition from Europe developped as contrary to consevative ideas. I think it is just a political group that is based on denying the other with politically correct speachs.
About consevative ideas... I will just say I am totally against them, they stop social developping.
So I guess I am a bit of an anarchist. And amazingly, I find that some theorical anarchisms are great, and the "it is impossible" argument is just a lie to avoid us to try it. It has been made practical in Barcelona before the Spanish Civil War, and the politicians that holded it were trahited by comunists and bombarded with URSS tanks, what helped Franco (supposed to be a common enemy) to win the war.
