Do people ever show up in your dreams. . .?

Do you ever have people show up in your dreams that you haven't seen or thought about in years? I'm always dreaming about High School and there are people there that I didn't know in high school. There are also classmates there that I hadn't thought of in years - I've been out of school for 16 years. It is so strange and when I wake up, I'm thinking what in the world made me dream about that person. Just thought I'd check to see if this happens to anyone else. :-)
