who is your favorite female & male artist and why

My favorite female artist has to be Jill Scott.. she is soultry rapped up in neo, and twisted hip hop floetry...
as for a male artist... in the present day and time I would have to say Dwele... He could sing to me anytime of the day or night... his words and his voice... sends my soul flying...

My favorite male artist is Tim McGraw hands down. I can just sit there and look at his brown eyes all day long, not to mention he is a good singer.
My favorite female singer is a tie between Faith Hill and Martina McBride. Martina can sing anything. I never thought Faith Hill was that good until I seen her in concert and that girl can sing.
As you can tell I am into country mostly. So those are my favorite artists.

Yes I really like country the best. But I am also into other music. We have a side business of karaoke and Djing so I get to hear all sorts of music and I like all types except rap. I don't care much for rap.

My favorite MALE artist is my favorite ARTIST, PERIOD,...of ALL-TIME, which is Prince! I can't think of a more VERSATILE artist in all of music! He can play a VARIETY of styles, and his entire body of work is UNPARALLELED!
CURRENTLY, my favorite male artist is R.Kelly. Like Prince, he writes and produces ALL of his own music, as well as being a multi-instrumentalist, which I greatly appreciate! He has alot of passion and emotion in his music, which I can feel! He's not as complex as Prince, but he makes "simplicity" sound so GOOD!
My favorite FEMALE artist, of ALL-TIME, is Sade. NO ONE is "smoother", 2 me. She's in a class all her own!
CURRENTLY, I don't have a favorite female, but some of my favorites, over the last decade, have been Toni Braxton, Jewel, Alanis Morrissette, Alicia Keys, and Aaliyah.

I like too many artist to pick just one.I guess the best way to narrow it down is to pick the artists that I have the most albums by.So it would be Olvia Newton John and Elton John.I have both of Olivia's greatist hits albums.I started listening to her in the 70's when she was singing country. And with Elton John I have three of his greatiest hits.It feels like I have always listened to his music.
