If you were a roll of toilet paper how would you prefer to be used?

I know this is an incredibly idiotic discussion. Still, it's an interesting take of life in general no matter how you answer. Personally i'd rather be used in a circular wiping motion while being dug deep into the undercurrent of waste and corruption. Sort of clean everything.
I suppose some would prefer to just go with the motions, up and down, and get on with your life.
How would you deal with a measurably time frame of your usefulness? I mean you won't be anything but a toilet paper roll in a week or two depending on the household or location.

This is a really gross metaphor for life. But it caught my attention. For you to have an answer like that, means you gave it a lot of thought. I really almost don't know how to respond to this. My guessed answer would be quick and easy. To touch as little filth as possible and get on with my day. Again really gross metaphor, but it got its shock/attention poin out there. Also a good laugh. So thanks for that.

Anyway, yeah it is gross. It's also a good point to be made by people if they can see the truth of it. We are all rolls of toilet paper, living day to day one square at a time. It's how we spare our squares along with outside intervention that determines our overall flushability. :)

how would i want to be used, truly i wouldnt, i would want to be that peice thats at the very end of the role that doesnt come off the role that way i can laugh at all my fallen comrades as they sink down to an eternal abyss of nothing and i get thrown away to start my own adventure

If I were a toilet paper I would want to be used as a decoration ya know do not just flush me down the toilet just hang me up and let me sit there I don;t know that just seems better

Interesting indeed. So instead of following a fate set before you, you step outside the rules meant to govern your life and instead live one filled with simply making other things look pretty. :) A bold bit of rebellion, ultimately leading to an indulgent though pretty existence. Fearing or at least being disturbed by your original mission in life, you've determined your own self indulgent course.
Yay, metaphors are fun... and a little mean. Sorry if this offended ya. You could also see this as you not wanting anyone to tell you what to do and being forced into a distasteful life while attempting to bring more joy, laughter, and beauty into the world. :)
