| Shocked by Electricity...  | | | |  Today I went to work as usual. However, the unexpected happened. I was in a scissor lift (a machine that acts as an elevator, but has wheels at the bottom of it) building a structure. Anyways, the scissor lift was dying (ran out of electricity), and thus, we plugged it in. Nonetheless, the grounding prong of the extension cord was cut off. Because of that, when I touched the 'metal' structures frame I was shocked with 120 volt (I think) of electricity. WHY THE HELL WAS THE PRONG CUT OFF AND WHO CUT IT OFF? Lucky I'm not dead.

| |  I always get grounded when I plug and unplug appliances. I remember being grounded when I touched the switch of our old refigerator's light! The most painful of all is when I unplugged our electric water heater... I accidentally touched the heater itself and I received a big shock. The beating of my heart was painful and I even had trouble breathing..

| | Yeah, when you get shocked, it is so horrible. But, I guess by getting shocked, we can learn from our past mistakes of not being more conscious of the things we are touching that contain electricity. Everyday you learn a new thing. Everyday you get a bit stronger.
