Curse of Chalion  | |  I have read the book The Curse of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold, and I would like to say I really like it a lot. I picked it up by accident, and when I read it, I fell in love with it.
The story is about a former soldier and courier, Lupe dy Cazaril, betrayed by an unknown enemy and sold into slavery. He escapes his bondage and returns to the royal household he once worked at and was entrusted the duty of teaching the sister of the heir. He finds himself tangled in a web of politic and a dark curse that threatens the soul of the family he now works for.
