Why lot of people so attract to Computer Game, X-box or Sony Playstation?

I love to play computer game and Sony Playstation. Both my boys love also get hook up to Sony Playstation. I limit them play 1 hour a day dividing into 2 session which 1/2 hour each. They will do anything for me or trade anything just to play sony playstation. Are you hook to system game as well?
