Red light, Yellow light, Green-a-light go?  

I guess it would probably sound okay to sing yellow light, red light, green a light go, maybe it just didn't sound right to Joe Elliott. I thought I was the only one in the world who analyzed stuff like that. Thank you so much!

first of all def leppard are a uk band. in the uk traffic signals turn yellow before they turn green. more importantly many song lyrics don't make sense, its more important that it rhymes. i believe this is called poetic license.
