Observe the story your neighbors rocks tell

If you drive around the neighborhood, or take a walk through it, you will probably find many ways people landscape their yards with rocks. I should write a book on the subject and call it, Rocks in my Neighborhood. We often think of gardening with beautiful, colorful flowers. There is the other element of gardening, which is just as beautiful, and desireable. The use of rock. Rocks, like flowers come in many different, shapes, sizes, textures, though, not with an abundance of color, rocks can bring out color, add to it, or fill a monochromatic color scheme. Rocks can be used in Japanese gardening, walkways, bordering around trees, mailboxes, setting off sections of yard, or for variety.
Two rules about using rocks in your garden:
1. Map carefully the geometry and location of placement.
2. Do not through big rocks on the ground, but instead, put a couple inches of the base into the earth for stability.

Yes, I have seen some good rockeries around in my neighbourhood, but if you were to write a book, I just wonder what you would make of my direct neighbour. You see, he has rocks on his roof!! And in his head too, I'm sure. Not just little rocks either (the ones on his roof,I mean) but quite large, some like 12 inches or more in diameter. Guess he has made a new form of roofing nail, perhaps, lol! What do you think of this, would this make a chapter in your book? I think it is a new book completely with that neighbour!!
