princess games | | | | i'm throughing my daughter a princess party for her b-day. i have a few game ideas but i need some more. so far we are going to play... snow white's poison apple (hot potato), jasmin's magic carpet, (where kids step on coloured paper until the music stopes then one colour is picked out of the hat and those people are out), kiss the prince frog ( kind of like pin the tail on the donkey) princess and the pea, read the story and find out if you are a princess and if you feel the small ball under the pillow on the floor. read the cinderella story and a present gets passed from kid to kid when the word cinderella is said. at the end whoever ends up with the girft in hand opens it. so those are my ideas so far. i could use a few more game ideas. we are also doing wand crafts and decorating our own cupcakes | | | | | | | | | | Ask a Lawyer: Child Law A Family Lawyer Will Answer Now! | | Here are a few more I found online: *Diamond Drop: Choose two teams with an even number of kids on each team. Designate a starting line and a finish line about 10 feet away. Each group of players line up at the starting line. The first person in each group is given two toothpicks. Each team has two bowls, one filled with ice cubes (royal diamonds) - one for each player - and another empty one that is placed at the finish line. Once you say "GO!", each team tries to pick up the "diamonds" with the tooth picks and race to the bowl at the finish line. If a diamond falls, it has to be picked up off the floor with the toothpicks. After each player drops their diamond in the finishing bowl, they race back and tag the next player who then goes. First team to get all their diamonds in their bowl wins! *Kiss the Prince: The kids put on red lipstick and are blindfolded and spun around, then they try to kiss a picture of a prince. Whoever is closest wins. *Royal Dress Up Relay: In this relay race, kids dress up in royal attire and race to the finish line. You can even separate the two groups into Princes against Princesses. Each group will have oversized clothes that match their title. For instance, the Princesses will have a gown, high heels, necklace, wig, sunglasses, crown, etc. Determine a starting line and a turn-back line about 15 feet apart. Place each set of clothes in a separate bag or suitcase. Place the suitcases at the start lines. Divide the players into two small groups and line them up at the start line. Blow the whistle or say go! The first players in each line open the suitcase and put on the clothes. They then shut the suit case and run to the turn-back line and then stop, take off the clothes, put them back in the suitcase and carry the suitcase back to the start line where the process starts all over again with the next person. The first team to finish wins. The more clothes you add, the funnier it gets! This can be one of the funniest kid games. *Princess Pea Guessing Game: Decorate a jar with lace and ribbons and fill it up with dried peas (you know the story of the pea under the mattress, right?) The kids guess how many peas they think are in the jar. *Royal (Freeze-Frame) Ball: Every royal princess birthday party has a ball. You can play ballroom music and the kids get to dance. There's only one catch… when the music stops-everyone freezes. Anyone who moves before the music starts again, is out and can help judge. *Sifting for Gems: This is one of those kid games that has a royal history. During the late 19th century each woman guest was invited to hold a handful of sand and let it sift through her fingers to find a precious gem left in her palm that was hers to take home. You can set up a similar game by getting a shoe box filled with clean sand or white cornmeal and bury inside a few plastic rhinestones. Have the Princesses and Princes take turns until they all have gems. | | | | | | | poppoppop111 (3282)

| | You have a lot of great ideas. They will have a great time. What about "Pin the Tiara on the Princess"? you could make a tracing of your daughter and then make flat tiaras out of cardboard and tin foil. That is just an idea. | | | | | | | | | | Local Coupons Ridiculously huge deals every day. Like doing your city at 90% off! www.Groupon.com | add comment | | | |

| | How about pick a princess. Gather your daughters princess dolls and put them in a circle. The game is going to go just like muscial chairs but instead of sitting in chair you have to pick up a princess when the music stops. Each time you take a doll away untill you have a winner. Oh she is going to have so much!! Tell her Happy Birthday for Me and Good Luck to you!! | | | | | | | poppoppop111 (3282)

| | I'm answering this from an email and cannot view the previous responses so I hope my idea hasn't already been mentioned. How about 'pin the crown on the princess.' You could cut out a big princess and make cardboard crowns for pinning onto the cutout while blindfolded. | | | | | | | | | | Pan-A-Cea Band Lively Up your event! | | My daughter played "princess, princess, queen" at her last birthday party. It's played like duck, duck, goose. All the little princesses sit in a circle, except one. The one standing is the queen. She circles the group, tapping each girl on the head, saying the word princess. She then chooses one to be the queen, and when she gets to that girl, she taps the new "queen" on her head, and says queen. She then needs to run around the circle, and sits where the new queen was sitting. If the new queen catches her, she must be the queen again, if she sits without being caught, it's the new queen's turn. Sounds like a fun day. I hope your daughter has a GREAT birthday!!! | | | | | | | | | | Free RPG -Adventure Quest Fight monsters with magic or might. 100’s of weapons, armors, and pets www.battleon.com | add comment | | | |
