I have heard that they are going to replace her with Britney Spears. I am not a big fan of Paula's because she is an alocoholic that needs help and I really don't like Britniey because she is not a good parent or role model. They should get a judge who actually had hits like Madonna or Gwen Stefani etc....

I certainly hope they don't replace her with Britany Spears! I'd still watch, but what fun would it be without Paula drooling over Simon and acting drunk! That's half of the show right there!

Just as a hypothetical what if, I would say that Olivia Newton-John would be a good replacement. She did a good job when she was guest judging during the audition process. I don't think that Paula will be replaced, though.

It really would not matter to me who they replaced her with but feel that they should replace her since she is having health problems. Britney Spears would not be a good replacement as she has enough problems right now and I would not want Sanjaya on there either. I would love to see Mariah Carey on there or some other famous female singer.

Hm, I'm not sure what kind of person could replace Paula, but I think it would be a bad idea to replace her. She has been there for so long and a lot of the show is based on the personality of the judges. Paula is the 'nice' voice who always finds the positives in everyone, so it would be tough to find a perfect person to replace her. Plus the interaction between Simon, Randy and Paula is kind of irreplaceable.

Hey, I like Paula but I think Sharon Osborne would be great. She's pulled Ozzie through life and a great career. I think she can see talent if it's there. Look at Ozzie.I doubt he'd be anywhere without her. I don't think he would have survived very long on any level without her.

Last year they spoke of Courtney Love replacing Paula which would have been horrendous. I don't think they should even hypothetically think of replacing Paula, if they want to replace anyone they should replace Randy. I'm sure they can find a better judge who can say more than "hey yo yo yo my dawg yo yo"

I doubt that they would replace Paula but if they did I have to say that Jewel was pretty good when she sat in during the preliminaries this season so I wouldn't mine if they used her.
