Pirate Master  

This is a new reality show. I was just wondering if anyone watched it last Thursday. That was the first episode. Basically what they have done is take a bunch of people and stick them on a ship. They hsve to sail this boat like pirates to specific spots and then go through a series of trials and be the first one to find a tresure chest with money in it.
In this first episode they split the crew into 2 teams according to which colour marble they pulled from a bag. The Black team ended up winning because "Jon" the creepy but SMART guy carried them through it. It was a veru close race with both teams at the finish searching through the water for the treasure chest.
When they got back to the ship the Host had the black team choose a Captain. Instead of choosing Jon-who was the reason that they had won the chest in the first place- they chose "Joe Don" because (I think) he is a fairly good looking guy (buff lady's man beach type).
It was then announced that in the chest that the black team had won, there was $20,000.00!! And Joe Don as Captain got half (people weren't happy). Then the host gave JD a choice, he could share the other half with his team, share it with 2 officers of his choice etc... He decided to give $5,000 to his 2 officers (that he chose) and the rest of the team could share the rest. This P*ssed some people Right OFF! JD and the officers were given better cabins to sleep in as well.
He immediately began laying down rules because he is X navy and wants to run the ship properly. He also got to select which 3 people would get the "black spot" which means they would be voted to stay or go home. He chose Joy (receptionist), Jon (the creepy smart guy), and Louie (Fishing Docksman). He chose Joy because he knew she wouldn't get voted off because she is nice and the crew likes her. He chose Louie because Louie wants to "mutiny" and he chose Jon because I think JD is threatened because this guy is smarter than him.
Jon got voted off and took the only 2 compasses on board with him when he left. So now I don't know what the crew is gonna do without those compasses....
My favourite to win is Louie. I just think the big bnear of a man is happy and jolly and funny and nice, he seems honest and an all around great guy. But usually the ones I want to win never do lol.

So after this lengthy post (lol sorry about that) did anyone else watch the show? What did you think? Do you plan on watching it again? Or are you sick of relaity shows? I watched the first Survivor, then I watched Amazing Race for awhile but the Reality thing just didn't addict me like it did some people. However, this show seems interesting. People have already been seasick, attitudes and personalities are clashing already because look at it yer stuck on a boat with all these other people. At least with Survivor you could go for a walk instead of punching someone lol! I'm going to continue watching this show. I think I like it.
