Is godaddy.com a good choice for a web domain and or hosting?  

From my expirience, they are an excellent choice for buying web domains. They are cheap, easy to use, and realiable. For hosting, they tend to be overpriced (however, they do have a new "free" hosting program where they post ads all over your page.)

If you want to be really cheap, you can use dotster.com. They offer most of the same features as godaddy.com but are a little cheapter. I have used both services and there is essentially no difference

Godaddy is by far the best price for domains. You should shop around for hosting packages that fit your needs. Godaddy did recently add free, ad-supported hosting if you are on a tight budget and don't mind banners.

I highly recommend Bizland for budget web hosting. It has good features for a very low price. If find that you like them and you'd like to use me as a referral, I'd appreciate it.

I have used Godaddy.com and I can tell you that it's really good and really reliable. The domain prices are pretty good and at least you don't have to worry about a monthly bill. I got my domain through them and I can't say I'm dissapointed with them as they've done good for me.

I only use Godaddy for registering domains. I have never had an issue with the company or product. I do however transfer my domains hosting to Bluehost. There I host all my domains. Never had a problem with Godaddy doing so. But I do here they have good hosting.
