killing a mosquito is a sin??

that's true, the bible never actually discriminates between killing people and animals and also not even by accident, in defense or on purpose. It also says that all sin are equal in God's eyes. I personally try to never kill anything in my house. Even ants. But the best resolve fo rme is always to try my best ot look after God's world.

You are funny. Killing a mosquito is the same as avoiding sickness and possibly death. Mosquitoes are blood suckers and disease distributors, if you allow them to have a free day thinking that you are trying to keep to the commandment of God then you are making a big mistake. You kill Chicken, fish, sheep,etc to feed which is vital for humans. For me anything that wants to affect the life of humans in a negative way must be avoided or probably destroyed. Cheers

Interesting discussion! This could be looked at in many different ways. The Bible does say that killing is a sin, and it doesn't clearly differentiate between killing humans, animals, insects, or even foliage. We kill animals and living plants every day for food, which is necessary for life. I would take that to mean that this is OK, since there is a reason for this killing. The same goes for mosquitoes, in a different way. There is a reason to exterminate them. Mosquitoes have absolutely no known purpose for living; they are obnoxious insects and they spread deadly diseases to humans and animals. Looking at it this way, then I would say that killing mosquitoes is NOT a sin. In fact, killing mosquitoes is good for mankind!

Ofcourse not, if you will not kill them, they'll surely kill you. They carry so many diseases and also suck your blood. So go and kill them. Dont wait for them to kill you....hahaha....LOL!!!
