Say, you are on an urgent work,and you are abt to leave your home,and now your mom calls you and hand over an errand and she attaches a lot of importance to it and wants the thing to be done immediately, very very urgent,she says.
By the time your friend checks in, Will you ask help from your friend,and get the job given by your mom done by him, or you yourself will do it, cursing your mom?

It depends on what the task it that she wants done. If it is important then I would do it right then and there. And if my friend shows up, sure I would ask for help in order to get it done sooner.
If the task was not important, then I would put it off for another day, especially if the task I was working on was important.
