Yes, they can survive in hot places. I raise huskies and we don't live in a cold area and nor do we get snow alot. They can adapt very well in pretty much any environment. If you do decide to get one please just remember that you should never let it stay outside all the time and that they are very good escape artisits. They can, I know plenty of Siberians residing in Bermuda, South America and Australia. First rule to having a Siberians in a hot climate is NEVER to shave their coat.. the same coat that keeps them warm in cold climates, keeps them cool in hot climates. It's insulation.

siberian huskies are suited for cold weather, I understand a lot of people love the look of siberian huskies and would like to own it as a pet. I know one siberian huskie died of heat stoke in Singapore. The are people who really love time build room with aircon to keep the dogs.

I live in central Texas, and my husky has done very well. I have a baby pool that I fill every day with cool water before I leave the house, and when I am home, the dogs are inside in the AC with me. Huskys generally are not water dogs, and she HATES baths, but she loves to "dig" the water in the pool, and will lay down and roll in it occasionally. Hope this helps a bit!
