Plasma screens are able to produce lighter and darker colours than LCD's, and you can look at a plasma screen clearly from more different angles.

However, an LCD television can produce better quality pictures, and your screen won't get burnt as easily as it might with a plasma screen (when you leave the same thing on the screen for a long period of time, the image may stay there)

I'd go to plasma too, its quality-price ratio is higher and you can use it longer
