Protected PDF document!

I have seen some e-Books on different topics such as blogging, affiliate marketing etc.at my friend's house. The e-Books are in PDF format. I want to copy or print some of the pages from those e-Books. My problem is the document settings of those PDFs won't let me do that as they are protected for copying and printing.Is there any method to solve the problem?
