do you have toys in every room of the house |
| |
| i'm so tired of toys being all over. are your kids good at keeping their toys in one room or two or do they drag them around all over the place. where do you allow toys or are you ok with them in every room. usually my room doesn't have toys is it but sometimes she gets some in there. but every other room in the house i find toys in. i'm really tired of it casue i find it so messy. i wish i could get my almost 4 year old to leave the toys in her room and play in there or at least not take so many in the living room while she plays | | | | | |

| | kids are like that... you need to have enough patience in cleaning their mess... all you need to do is have a big box for them to put their toys after they play... and always remind them to put their toys in the box when they're finish with them. | | | |

| | At one point I did, but I have managed to keep the kids toys in their room and some in the family room. But of course that doesn't mean that my daughters toys don't find there way into the bathroom, my bedroom, and the kitchen, lol. But I try :) | | | | | | |

| | Our apartment was completely littered with toys up until recently. I finally decided to keep the small things in her room only. I got so tired of stepping on blocks lol Its easy for now because we have a baby gate up and so when she wants to go play in her room I watch her and make sure she doesnt bring any of the little toys back out to the living room. I recently put her shopping cart and fake food in her room as well since I was tired of digging out plastic vegetables from under the couch lol I would make it a rule that certain things can only be played with in her room like little blocks and legos etc that are hard to clean up throughout the rest of the house. Or to put some sort of tin or small plastic bin in each room for her to put all her things in when she is done playing with them. | | | | | | |

| | LOL! Don't you hate those little tiny plastic foods that get lost in couches or even under the entertainment center? ANd I don't know how many times I have screamed out in pain because I just stepped on a block. LOL! I keep all the small stuff in the rooms as well. | | | |

| | My son has a toybin in his corner of the living room. He also has some pillows over there, and he can look out the window, so he really likes to play there. The rest of his toys are supposed to be kept in his room in his toybox for the most part. He has a few trucks in the computer room, but he does a really good job about putting them back in the box when he's in here. He does sometimes have an issue with the toys in the living room, though. If I'm cooking, I put up the babygate and have him to play in the dining area, so I can still see him, but he can't burn himself on the stove. Lately he's taken to throwing his toys over the gate and yelling "Eromo!" (Geronimo, I think) Then after a while, he gets sad because he is a little neat freak child. He stands at the gate and yells for the dogs to clean up the toys because they are messy! lol | | | | | | |

| | I don't have toys in my room when I was a little girl. First, my family is very poor, my parents can't buy such expensive toys for me. Second, I dont like toys. When I got a toy, I will be interested in it for only 1 hour, then I will leave it in my box. But now I think toys are good for little children , they can help children to know more about the world, and develop their brains. So if I had a baby, I would buy toys for him/her. | | | | | | |

| | I have toys all over the place. Unfortunately, they are mine. I guess I will always be a kid at heart. The only that really changes is I have gone from Ninja Turles action figures to misc. computer parts and accessories. My much loved girlfriend made me throw out my useless harddrives yesterday =( | | | | | | |

| | My son is 12. When he was younger he kept most of his toys in his bedroom and a few downstairs in the lounge. Nowadays he is more into his computer, play station, chess, model making projects and things about his favourite subject (history) than toys. I have just had a baby and am going to try not to make the mistake of buying too many toys. I am hoping to have 30 toys for him kept in three different boxes. It will be nice if he keeps the boxes tidy. If he wants more toys hen he must get rid of some before the new ones are bought. Things like a train set will be considered one toy for this. My sister's children have lots and lots of toys. For example, my oldest nephew has more than one hundred action men. They cause a great deal of mess with all the toys and it is easy to fall over them. I think they should have a clutter clearing session. Each of the children should put their toys in the boxes upstairs. It would be relaxing for my sister and her husband if the lounge was kept free of toys. This might be difficult as my neice is still a baby but I am sure the other children could mange this. | | | | | | |
