The funniest thing happened today!!!!

Okay I need to share this with everyone. The funniest thing happened today. This morning my kids and I went to the library to return a book and check some movies out. We got there right as they opened and went straight to the movie section, which happens to be up front near the door. Well we had been standing there for a few minutes and nothing seemed out of place. I was looking at some movies down low when something moved out of the corner of my eye. Natural habit I turned to look. Here sat the biggest frog I had ever seen. At this time my kids hadn't seem him yet, but before I could say anything the frog jumped again. This time landing right in front of my daughter (who is 3), about an inch in front of her shoe. My daughter screamed and jumped a good 4 feet into the air. I almost died laughing. After she screamed other people there started to come see what was wrong and the lady at the counter asked if everything was okay. Me and another lady who happened to be standing there told the lady it was just a really big frog. So at that time the lady and a guy came over. The guy said he would catch it and put it back outside. Another funny thing about it was my son (who is 4) wasn't scared by it, he actually started to follow it as it hopped along.
Now, the doors to the library are the automatic sliding doors. I don't think this frog could have triggered them himself. So how this frog got in without anyone noticing is beyond me.
It was hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

That is very funny. Strange how boys seem to take to thing like a frog better then girls. I would be interesting to know how the frog did get into there afterall. Definitly something to keep to tell your children especialy your daughter when she gets older.

Even though your kids are close to the same age, boys usually are a bit more fearless of new things so I can see why he was just in awe over it.
I wonder how he got over there. hehe

Seems like a very smart frog to me! He saw his opportunity to sneak in the building and he took it. I think it's pretty funny! It's not often that you see a frog in the library.

OMG-- that is so funny! Poor kiddos- Did your daughter calm down and follow it too? My daughter would have- I know when I'm walking in the yard if I see something move- I yell and jump- it's usually a frog-- How funny though in a library! I wonder how long the frog was in there- You find all kinds of things in libraries- Now your son will want to go to the library more often- and he'll probably look for frogs : )

That is soo funny!! My kids would have done the same thing, my son would have followed it around and my daughter would freak out!! That is so funny...I would have probably freaked out myself =)

That is so funny...I bet your poor daughter did jump way up into the sky....LOL
I can see my 5 yr. old getting down and trying to hop behind it as well.....LOL

That is incredibly funny! I would have laughed hard, too. My son was always afraid of frogs and he probably would have been the one screaming and running away from it. I also wonder how that frog got in the library, but I also think that some child probably carried it in and left it as a prank, but who knows!
