How many who are planning vacation check hotel webites?

This year was the first time in over ten years that I went on vacation. I went with my fiancee to a family reunoin in Kentucky. Her family uses the same hotel each year because it is located near the family that lives there. I have to admit that we didn't check the prices of the hotels before we went. Next year we are planning to vacation in a different spot. We will be looking up the hotel information before we live. To check the price but also to make sure that they will have the rooms we need available.
