I bought a new digital camera in May day holiday.Although it's not so expensive, but the price is not low to me.So I treasure it so much. Each time having a trip without a camera,I have lost so much chances to record the beautiful memory. So this carmer helps me so much. But when my friends know I have a digital camera, they want to borrow it.In my heart,I won't.So I deal with such matter accoring to the situation. If the camera isn't out of my control,I would promise;if it is out of my control,I would reject their requirment. It's because I worry about they would make something wrong with my camera. If it isn't work when my friends return it to me,what I will do,to ask him to pay for my loss or to endure it.If I ask them to compensate for another new camera,I'm not sure whether it is real or second-hand;if I endure it,I will be uncomfortable and don't know how to treat them.
My friends,if you were me,how you do with it?Will you lend your new digital camera to your friends?

That is a hard decision to make. I probably wouldn't. I'd tell them that I was going to be needing it at the time they wanted to borrow it. After all, you got it to take pictures when you want to and you never know when you are going to want to take a picture of something. So, you won't be lying by saying your going to be using it.

I do not loan my new digital camera to my friends. I have an older one that I sometimes allow others to borrow but I feel that if I want to keep my new digital camera safe then I will not loan it out. I think that you need to do what you are comfortable in doing. If you don't want to loan out your camera then explain to your friend that you don't feel comfortable loaning out the camera because you might need to use it. A good friend would honor what you want to do with your camera.

If they're real friends - u must trust them.. and they woun't do anything bad to your camera.. if u don't trust them enough, don't give and they will understand..

I lent my DSLR to my daughter for a week for her to do a science exam: that was a week in withdrawal!!! I have a few cameras, and I am happy to lend them out for short periods, even the expensive ones, but not if I do not have one to keep with me.
