Jimi Hendrix fans  

you have to see the Woodstock footage..I don't know if thats what you seen, but he killed that show..it was the best!

well jimi was neat...i mean he was very quiet and to himself..and he was a pleasant person,from what i was told,and he was different when he performed,he played his emotions through his music..!

i was reading when,the photographers were photographing him he was smiling too much and they didn't want that look..so they were doing/saying things to make him angry,to get the hardened look that they thought were appealing...

he had long fingers and a long thumb,which made it possible for him to reach notes that a lot of other great guitar players couldn't.

and possibly that's where some of his unique melodies/sounds would come from..

i don't know for sure,but i was around when the british invasion and all the underground music started and out of all of them...jimi's music really seemed to hit me the best of all and there were so many incredible artists...that was another thing about that era...there were so many and they were all awesome..!

there are still many of them alive today and i wish they would just belching them out like they used too..!

Jimi played from his soul

I think he is a fantastic lyricist. But, there are some words he put in, that don't neceserraly make sense. But the music he creates shows that his lyrics are actually relevant and, ofcourse fantastic. He is a god of the guitar, and not many people can be called that, even people among the best. Other (s) I consider gods of Guitar include: Ritchie Blackmore, Brian May and Tony Iommi.
Whereas people may consider Randy Rhoads or Eddie Van Halen gods, granted they are brilliant, but they aren't gods of guitars like Hendrix.
