It is said that clothes make the man (or the woman), but I believe that there's a lot more that goes into the quality of a person than their clothing. I do try to dress presentably when I go out, but as a pre-school teacher I dress more for comfort than to impress. What about you, do you dress to impress or do you choose clothing that is more for comfort, quality and endurance?

Absolutly, The way a man presents himself says a lot about him. If he is well groomed and dressed nice it says that he tikes pride in his apperance and wishes to generate a since of confidence in others, where as someone who is wearing dmaged clothes or things that do not match or is improperly dressed for a certain occasion is saying i am only doing this because I have to and I could care less what you think. A man or women who puts off this image in their apperance is not worth out tim, how can we care about them if they first do not car about themself's.

I think that there is more than clothes. There could be a really poor person who is just absolutely wonderful, but can't afford to dress nicely. I do dress to impress, but that's because I can afford it. (Not to sound conceited at all.) But probably the nicest people are the ones who can't afford to dress nicely.

I usually wear what makes me comfortable and that doesn't always work to my advantage. The way you look and dress is the first thing people notice about you and some have a hard time looking past that first impression.
So I would say that for a lot of people the clothes really make the man.
For me whats on the inside is more importend...because you can take something very ugly and wrap it up all pretty....but underneath it's still ugly.

We want or not we express by symbols and they give us identity. When clothing is consistent, in harmony with our selves, it is our right and send messages about who we are. The problem occurs when you steal the identity of others, wearing clothes that do not suit us and we put in value just because they are trendy or because they were worn by false models. So it is that we see daily gloss paint masks and souls sad eyes looking after the many, after approval, confidence and strength. Yes, clothes can be a real weapon, a suit adds authority, kept giving clues about the profession and social status of the wearer. It is therefore important. For that reason must be clean, comfortable, quality, age appropriate, status, profession and your creed. So man makes clothes, and will definitely tailor's measure.
