I have a leather and canvas purse and today I noticed a dirt stain inside. Luckily it was fairly fresh and I was able to get it out. But the purse I replaced it with had been bought at a thrift store and had older stains in it. It was also leather. Now since you cannot, I suppose, put leather in a washing machine, how can you clean the inside lining of a purse?

I recommend going to a dry cleaners. If they can fix/wash leather coats, I'm sure they can do the same with purses.

Is it big enough that you could use a carpet cleaner or apholstry cleaner attachment?
Or one of those Tide to go pens. They kind of stink but get stains out. I used one to get a pen mark out of a wedding gown before.
