Call me crazy but I really believe this!

I do... Well I'm not married but I have seen a lot of married couples, successful and unsuccessful and I too have my own ideas of a good marriage myself. I believe if two people respect each other and as you said are kind to each other, then they can live happily ever after. Love is a little over rated. I've seen people who fight like cats and dogs going into marriage and when I ask them they say we love each other, I don't get that, that's not love, more like lust, and then that goes away after a while and all they're left with is a shell of a marriage filled with all other emotions except love. Kindness and being civil to each other, I guess, is the same thing as respect. And that and trust is more important than so called "love" which we don't even know what it actually is...That kindness and respect can become friendship and love which can sustain a whole lifetime..
