My vision starts to blurr in my teens. I cant see anything without my contacts, very blurry silhouettes. I envy people who have good sights. Do you have a 20/20 vision? which do you prefer? contacts or glasses?

I feel one should go for eye examination one or twice a year especially if one wears glasses. As it is not easy to find out if the power of our glasses has increased and therefore need to be changed. Though if we fel eye strain and have problems sighting written material we should go for eye checkup. If we wait too long power of glasses may increase further which should be avoided. Cheers. I have a hard time even getting what power mine should be because if I go in in the morning, the eye doctor will tell me I don't need glasses. If I go in the evening, they'll think I'm nearly blind.

I have to wear contacts. My eyes started getting bad when I was in fifth grade, and after that they just got worse and worse each year. They've finally stopped getting worse, but I have really really blurry vision now. I have a backup pair of glasses just in case my contacts are bothering me or something, but I prefer to wear contacts.

When I was young I had perfect vision. When I was 40 years old I first got glasses to read a book and the I also needed glasses for driving. I wear my glasses all day and I am very happy with the way I can see and the way I look. Every two to three years I get an new pair of glasses.
