Which is the better TV, plasma or LCD?

I was wondering about TV's and which is the better deal and so forth plasma or LCD's? I have heard pros and cons about both of them but I am still confused. Anybody got an opinion or real life experience with them?

I really prefer the LCDs. I have had some experience with both through work and different conference rooms, and I have to tell you:
The Plasmas I've played with Overheat easily.
The Plasmas I've worked with burn in images too easily.
LCDs still remained cool and I've never had an image burnt in.
