http://www.cbc.ca/canada/montreal/story/2007/06/11/qc-protestorsvandoos.html I can't believe these people. If they have a problem with the war in Afghanistan, so be it, but don't be sending letters to our soldiers. It says things like "Your deployment in Afghanistan means complicity with the civilian deaths and other activities... that are tantamount to war crimes". How dare they!! I can't believe people would do this. What do you think?

Well, you know with me being the mother of a 'soldier' I think this is horrid but what can we do - it's war these people don't like us to begin with I guess we can't expect them to welcome our military with open arms. I would however think that the military would sincere the mail better and not forward the 'junk'. I've heard the stories of one of the World Wars there was a famous radio personality, a lady, that was always broadcasting stuff like this. Now this should pull out the real oldies here - which war was it and what was her name? Ok sure there's some youngster that's up on history that will know.

It's our own citizens sending them these letters. But, judging by the responses, people would rather think about what they like better, sport or dress shoes. Wow, are we messed up.

oh that is really really bad - I didn't realize it was our own countrymen doing it. I would love to just kick people like that out of the country.

I think her name was Tokyo Rose. Not sure. Did you know that they want to name Jane Fonda one of the most influential women of the century or some such nonsense? She did basically the same thing, going to Viet Nam and siding with those keeping our guys in POW camps...came home and called our soldiers baby killers and said the Viet Cong were humane!

This is a bunch of B.S., instead of sending this poor soldiers letters like this they should be thanking them for risking their lives so that the anti war activist are able to protest. Whether or not a soldier is sent some where to fight really isn't their choice. The soldiers are doing a service for their country an should be treated with respect. I can respect that anti war activist are against the war but take it to your congress not the soldiers who are just doing their job.
