How you judge the people via their capabilities or via ur feeling of judgement?

What you conside while talking to someone, how you judge people, how you decide this person is worthful for talking? This person is fit for your company or not? I just know whether you decide via your own feeling of judgement or you decide via the real abilities, experience of the person. I know some go for abilities of candidates and some go by own feeling of judgement. What you think is appropriate method to judge any person not only for the company or for any post, decide ingeneral whether the person is suitable and worthful. I expect straight, cool and truthful answer because atleast this much i can expect from mylot friends. isn't it?
