I was just watching a local news program and they mentioned that there is a company that makes storm capes for dogs. Supposedly the capes help alleviate static electricity discomfort that dogs get during storms. Not sure where you can buy them. But, I think the company has an online website. Just wanted to pass this information along, just in case you are concerned with you dog's health during storms.

Wow - I am interested in finding out more about this cape. My 3 little furbabies all have regular rain coats but this sounds like it is even safer. They hate to have to go out in the rain but sometimes it ccan't be helped! Thanks for sharing this information.

Wow, never heard of this. I will have to look into it. I am always scared for my babies when I have to take them out in the rain when there is thunder and lightning. I actually take off their colors and just do the leash around their neck to go potty so there is no metal touching them. Lightning is such a dangerous thing. Thanks for sharing about this special cape.
