How would you feel about it? Would you say no? Or would you say, go ahead!
I think I would definitely say go ahead, even though I wouldn't really feel comfortable about it. I guess I'll just have to hope she doesn't wear it on the same day that I do..:P
What about you? Would you be honest about it and tell her not to? Or are you just the type of person that wouldn't care less..?Thanks...

i have a friend who is like that before. always envious of what i have. she actually bought same clothes like mine. and mind you, same colors as well. good thing was, we did not wear them on the same day. or else, i'll truly feel bad about it.
just like you, i will just say "go ahead and buy it" if she asks if she can have it, too. but i do hope her common sense will work... usually, not... anne

LOL~~! Some people just don't get how uncomfortable it is to have the same top AND COLOR as your friend. It's not like we'll get mad or anything, just weirded out.. that's all.. =P

I would be honest, but honestly I don't mind her buying the same top as me at all. Because we'd definitely look very different anyway. I mean sure we're friends but none of my friends has the same style as me. So it would look like completely different outfits anyway, and we have different bodies, don't we? And even if we happen to wear it at the same time I wouldn't mind for the same reason. If it's a really good bargain, then who am I to deprive a friend of that? I wouldn't really be a good friend then, would I? In fact I'm usually the one telling my friends to get the stuff I do, because I have a good eye and luck for finding bargains. Everyone has their own style, but just the same top doesn't decide that...

It's great that you and your friends have different styles that define your identities. My friends and I are almost alike, with the same body type, height and even styles which makes it kinda difficult to differentiate myself from them. As for bargains, I'll always tell them where to get stuff too. I definitely won't keep it to myself. If my friend coincidently buys what I have, I wouldn't mind at all.

What would make you uncomfortable about your friend having the same top as you? It is only a top. I wouldn't be against it since me and my friends used to dress alike as kids anyway. We still sometimes buy the same purse, shoes, etc. So, no, I wouldn't have a problem with it at all.

Hmmm...Wearing the same top at the same time?? Well, that would make me uncomfortable. If we were still kids, I wouldn't mind as well. LOL.. I don't mind if it's the same purse or shoes because it's not what stands out when I wear it. But if my friend does end up buying it the same top, I wouldn't get mad. Just uncomfortable, afraid that we'll clash when we meet each other.

i definitely wouldn't say no.. but i haven't had that problem in a long time because my friends and i have different styles, anyway. But when i find a great bargain, i will tell them where to get it and stuff. Also, if someone loves something i'm wearing, i don't mind telling as well.. so if they end up buying it, it's ok.

Same here.. I wouldn't keep the bargain to myself. I always tell people where I get my stuff. If you're not bound to clash with the other person, then it's ok by me.

Me I will be flattered because to me it means I have great taste. I don't mind her copying my taste so long as we don't wear it at the same time.

They say that imitation is a form of flattery. It wouldn't worry me one bit if a friend wanted to get the same top as me.

I don't think I'd mind. After all, it's better than her asking to borrow mine! LOL
I was actually the one that got the same shirt as one of my friends, though I was maybe 8 years old at the time. This was back when Cyndi Lauper was popular and the shirt read "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". I was a girl that just wanted to have fun. I thought it suited me so I got a shirt just like my friend's. My friend and I even worn our shirts on the same day. It didn't matter to her. She was totally cool about it!

Even if my friend do not buy the same top, someone else would unless the top is exclusive. So, I would not say no. In fact, I should feel honoured that someone else also like my taste. lol. If I am particular, I would not buy the top if she is buying.
Even if your friend or someone else wear the same top, I dare say that the person would not be wearing the same exact bottom and accessories. It would be coincidence if this is so. To make it less likely that my friend will buy the same top, I shop alone.

oh yeah. why not? after all I don't own it, and I am not the one who designs it.
way back college, my friends and I bought same tops and wear it the same day on school. everyone thought that we'll going to have a dance number at school.

Of course it's not the end of the world. I wouldn't trade a friend for a top as well.. Haha~! I just hope she doesn't wear the same top on the same day I do.. That's what makes me uncomfortable..
