I love having a Dell computer and I can't believe that Walmart sells them now!

This is good to know because it use to be that you could only order one through the mail. I have owned two so far in my life and the next time I buy one it will also be a Dell. Now who ever wants a Dell can go right to the store and buy one without having to wait for a delivery. What kind of computer to you own? Do you like or dislike Dell and why?

I wonder what the price range is on these? I bet that Walmart will now be giving Best Buy and Circuit City some real competition. I have heard both good and bad things about Dell computers. I personally have never used one so I can't give my opinion as to liking them or disliking them.

I don't think Walmart will be giving Best Buy and Circuit City ANY competition, as Walmart barely has a selection of computers(and the fact people don't think to go to Walmart for a computer), actually when I went there the other day, there was only TWO computers, and they weren't even Dells.

I have a HP computer, and I've a friend who had a Dell, which he said sucked. ALl computers are basically standard, For example, a car if you drive a standard vehicle the clutch is always on the left side, the brake is in the middle and the gas is on the right side. This example can be used for every computer made. Every computer has the similar. it's just that some come with different packages, to make the consumer say "Wow", but you don't have to have a Dell to have a great comuter. You also have companies that can build you a computer for scratch and can cost less, than a dell and also be faster and have more memory, etc.
To me it's to each his own.
Have a great day!

You are right. I guess I am just set in my ways. As a matter of fact now that you mentioned it my last Dell only lasted 2 years. So perhaps they do suck. LOL! But I am happy with my newer one which is about a year and a half old. Maybe because it has a flat screen so it's different than my last one.
But all in all I was just amazed that Dell actually put their stuff at Walmart. (maybe they are getting desparate with all the competition? LOL!
Thanks and you have a great day too!

I have never owned a Dell, but have heard that they are good.
I build my own computers so that I can insure that I get exactly the setup that I need, although my wife bought an eMachine at Walmart about a year ago.
If Dell had been available then, that is probably what she would have gotten, because they have a lot better reputation then the eMachine does.

I presently have a Dell and have had no problems with it (let me keep my mouth shut) I had an HP before and between the two I would have to go with the Dell.

We have a h/p and a h/p notebook. But we did order a dell laptop and we use it also. So far it has been great. I seen where Walmart are selling Dell's now and they are so reasonable. Everybody I know that has a Dell has loved theirs.
I think our wal-mart the Dells sells for $600 which isn't to bad and I think you even get a flat screen with it.

Oh yea. Dell used to be buyable online or via the telephone only. Seems that they have thought it through and decide to try expand their customer base this way.
Well as long as they don't raise prices, I am fine! ;-)
