Mike Keenan to coach The Flames

I think he is a good fit they need someone to kick some a$$es there and get the whole team playing up to their potential not jsut one or two players every other night.

It's hard to say if Keenan would be good for the Flames.

I was a Rangers fan when he coached them to winning the Stanely Cup back in 1994. He certainly played a big part in it. However, some of the credit also goes to some of the players on the team at the time. Especially to Messier and his captaincy.

Keenan has not been as good since he left that team in 1994. And as some of us know, the way he left the team was very tacky and unprofessional. Seems that he's been suffering from some type of bad karma since then. With his teams not faring as well as it did prior to and up to 1994 as it did afterwards, not even close.

Keenan may also be too "old school" for today's hockey. Although I could be wrong on it.
