| | When I was a child, I love to read books written by Enid Blyton. Books like The Magic Faraway Tree series, School series like Malory Towers, Mystery series as in the Famous Five,Secret Seven ,Five Find-outers and the list goes on. Now that I have 2 kids, I hope to get them to read these books that I enjoyed when I was young. In fact, my daughter has already started on some of Enid Blyton's books. | | | | | | | | | | Kids Books Looking For Kids Books? Find It Nearby With Local.com! Local.com | add comment | | | |

| | I read a lot when I was young. Still do, when I have time. I loved Where the Wild Things are, Nancy Drew, Little House books, The Cat in the Hat, Hardy Boys. There are so many. I don't have any kids, though. And my brother's kids are all grown up. So, maybe I can share with his grandkids. | | | | | | | | | | Website for Readers Do you like to read? | | "The Lorax" has always been my favorite. I've been thinking of getting a Lorax tattoo for years. "The Butter Battle Book" is another Dr. Suess classic about the cold war, and arms proliferation. Bill Peet's "The Wump World" is an excellent enviromentally themed book. The "Giving Tree" by Shell Silverstein, is awesome. How could I forget "Brother Eagle, Sister Sky" the beautifully illustrated Susan Jeffers book, that has a wonderful adaption of Chief Seattle's famous speech. I cry when I read it. I worked at a nature camp for half a dozen summers, and these were my favorites to read to the kids. Right wing family's my want to find different books for there kids, but there is nothing like reading the lorax to a group of children, and using it to springboard into a lecture on peak oil, and exponential growth of energy consumption. | | | | | | | | | | Discounted books for sale Save money! | | When I was a kid, I read everything that I could get my hands on and I mean that literally. I devoured books and could not keep enough books around to read so I read any book I could find. I went to the library all the time too and practically lived there in the summer and checked out lots and lots of books. My favorites were the horse stories and the dog stories especially those by Marguerite Henry. I loved the series books like Trixie Belden, Nancy Drew, the Bobbsey Twins, Hardy boys, Three Investigators. I loved them all and I didn't care if they were age appropriate or not cuz I would read them. | | | | | | | | | | Why Shop Online Visit The MyReviewsNow Interactive Mall And Discover The Benefits http://www.squidoo.com/why-shop-wit | add comment | | | |
