Where do you sit inside a classroom? In front or at the back?

i like to sit infront because i take note lectures and wanna hear the profesor clearly..i'm a bit serious with my studies when i was still in school..and i also wanna participate more in the class.

When I was in grade school we were only assigned seats. The smaller ones sat in front while the taller ones sat behind because if it is going to be the reverse, the tall ones will be covering the small ones who could not see the blackboard or teacher. I was one of those assigned to the last row along with the other taller students. This got carried along in high school to college even if the teacher no longer assigned our seats. It just sort of became a habit with me. Each school year after, I would seek the last row and observe much of the time.

I prefer the back of class,where i can talk with my friends.In my primary classes i sat upfront.But after that i was an alltime back bencher.

When i was in high school we have sitting arrangement most of the time it is arranged in alphabetical order based on our surname, so my sitting position is always on second raw at the front. In college, some follow same procedure but the others we have the option to choose our own. I hate to be in front raw, i feel awkward with my professor, i prefer at the middle so i can look at him/her straigth. But if the professor is the one i least like, i prefer sitting at the back near the door so i will be the first one to exit the class once dismissed.=)

I used to sit in the front but not in the first bench..probably 2 nd or 3rd benches and always sit with my friends.I dont like sitting at the back.Many say that pupils sitting at the back benches dont study well..but i cant agree with this concept.

when i was a student i sit at the back too. i was shy, actually i'm still shy, but work says no shy people allowed LOL. i like staying at the back, i never wanted to be on the spotlight i guess.:)

Before i used to sit in the back but now i sit in front. Its much better in front, thrust me!

Hmm everyone wants to sit at the back don't they? Unless they can't see the board very well.
When at school,there would be a mad rush for the seats at the back unless the person teaching was very good looking when there would be a mad dash for the front LOL
One of the attractions of the back of the room was to lean our chairs against the wall and teeter on the back legs lazily.

Hello,argie,when i was a studnet in high school,i liked to sit at the back of the classroom as i did not always pay attention in class,sometimes i would chat with my classmates or fall asleep.in sitting at the back,i would have less attention from the teachers and could do what i want in class.:)

I always prefere to sit in the back. I like to be able to see what is going on in the room. It might be a controle thing. I go nuts if I have to sit in front. I constantly want to turn around and see what is making the noise, who is wispering etc.
