The only thing I know that I do that I can't control and I'd like to be able to stop is grinding my teeth in my sleep. Its so bad I wake myself up from it. I don't know what causes it to happen, I think its stress but I'd love to stop before I wear away the enamel on my teeth lol.

My baby brother does that. His dentist gave him this advice and I tell ya it works. Go buy you a cheap mouth guard like football players use. They run around 7 bucks for the ones that you can form to fit your mouth. He puts it in before he goes to sleep and it makes a world of diffrence. He doesn't have sore jaws in the mornings also.

ya know I might have to go and try that, I don't even realize I'm doing it until I get woken up. I think it normally happens when I'm stressed out the most. Or when I have bad dreams. Either way its anoyin to me too and I'd like to stop doing it.

I shake my leg all the time when I am either thinking or angry. My hubby will be looking at me laughing and I won't know why. Then I see where he is looking and I try to stop because I am usually mad and hate it when he laughs at me, but I can't stop either. I only stop for a moment and then the dang leg starts again as if it has a mind of it's own !!

LOL - I think that just shows how wonderfully happy you are! I have a bit of a problem with humming and half singing when I am eating something I LOVE. Especially if I haven't eat it in a while. I had never noticed it until we were at my mother-in-laws a couple of months ago when she made me gravy and biscuits. I love gravy and biscuits but at the time I hadn't quit mastered making gravy and so I hadn't had them since I went to stay with my dad around Christmas. I was doing my humming / singing thing while I was thoroughly enjoying my delicious breakfast when she said her sister does the same thing. I realized then that I do that yet never really paid any attention to it while I was doing it before! I've done the bouncing thing to the dryer too before. :)

Well since we are confiding our weird habits, I suppose I'll have to tell mine! When I am sitting at the desk working on my laptop, I keep my hands on the keys with my fingers on the 'home keys' (old typing term). I drum my fingers on them until ready to actually type! This drives my children crazy! The a,s,d,f and j,k,l,; are worn off the keys! Luckily I don't look at my hands or the keys to type!

I'm not usually in the habit of talking to myself but I have a computer game that every time I play it I talk to it like the people are real. If an enemy attacks I'm cussing them like someone's breaking in to my house. My husband sits here and laughs at me all the time but I just can't seem to stop myself. Plus it kind of makes the game more fun and I feel like I'm part of the action.

Well, this is kind of silly and at times embaresing but when the radio is on I just have to be singing with the music. It takes alot of effort to avoid singing and I dont know why. I just cant stop. Take care, Terry
