"GOOD LUCK!" Are You Curious About This Cultural Belief? Read On...  

I am not sure if I believe in luck, good or bad. I think sometimes it is just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. It could have been anyone but it happened to be you because this event was going to happen anyhow. That is my personal belief. But, I do know people that have bad things happen to them constantly and for no apparent reason the same as some that have good happenings.
I have no explanation on this or know why it has to be this way. It is a shame that a lot of good people seem to have a string of bad luck for no apparent reason. Good topic :)

I believe we make our own luck to some extent. The choices we make, the things we do, and self belief. These things all make us more likely to be lucky. I believe in Zen, although I am not a practicing Buddist. I believe that what goes around comes around, do good and you get good back etc... I don't know where this cultural belief comes from, but it is just what I believe.

For me, so far in my life it is working. I always try to help people, and even if those same people don't appreciate it, I always find there are people willing to help me as I go along. Eventually I find that I get lucky at certain times. I don't know if I have gone off topic here, but I am just sharing my thoughts. I have not been extremely lucky, as in winning the lottery, but I am content with what I have and I know things are going to get better, because I believe I will work hard and make it happen. That is how I feel right now.

I've never considered myself a lucky person, mainly because I've never won the lottery or a big prize and so forth. One often hears others relating to this. But after reading the subjects in the links you provided I've looked at things differently.
I've survived several car crashes that could have been fatal, I've had many near misses, where my decision to hit the brake or step on the gas has been correct and probably saved my life and that of the other driver as well.
I've made some terrible decisions in my life but I've been lucky enough to realise when "enough is enough" and walk away.
And I'm pretty lucky at finding things...oh, nothing valuable like a lost masterpiece or anything of that nature, my best find most recently was a penny which surfaced in my front yard. It was minted the year I was born. How lucky is that?! :)

We all create our own luck. Some of us have luck and others do not. That is how life is.

I love this kind of stuff thanks for posting it- and I just left bizzibods site and printed her money spells.....I'm getting desparate...lol--- I begining to really hate that girl that took my money- all my bills are a mess now.

To be very honest there is time wen I cant ignore luck...even though I try not to beleve in these things but some incidents sometime force me to believe and they are so strong they overcome my confidence ....i believe sincere and honest desire can bring luck....
