|  I just watched the preview for a new Will Smith movie coming out, and oh my gosh! It looks really great and chilling. I thought I would share the preview with everyone in case you haven't heard of this movie yet! The 'catch phrase' is "The last man on earth, isn't alone."

| |  I went to the IMDB page for this movie and when I saw the Will Smith's character's name I instantly recognized it. This is a remake. Actually, it's a remake of a remake. I am not saying it will be bad, I am just letting you know. This is a remake of The Omega Man with Charlton Heston, which was a remake of The Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price. Interested in comparing The Omega Man trailer with the I Am Legend trailer? I found the original Omega Man trailer from 1971 on youtube. Here's the link:

| | Wow! I didn't know that it was a remake...X's two =P. Thanks for the link. The Omega Man preview was kind of weird for me only because it didn't really show that all the hooded people were zombies. So it was like them saying he is the last man on earth but then there are tons of hooded peopel trying to catch him hehe. But having said that it still looks creepy, I just hate the whole plot concept, too scary! I bet the Will Smith movie will scary the living daylights out of me if I do go and see it! I'm always iffy about seeing zombie movies because they are so frightening to me. | | | |

| | Yeah, the Omega Man preview was much more zombie-focused than the Legend preview, wasn't it?? I have seen the movie a few times. Without spoiling anything (even though it doesn't sound like it's your kind of movie), the zombies don't count as people. :)
I will definitely be going to see the new movie. I won't be able to help myself as far as comparing the two (and I obviously already have been doing that - in Omega Man we don't see any of Neville's family), but it looks like it will be entertaining anyway. Will Smith was great in Independence Day and the Men in Black movies, so I have high hopes for this one. Thanks for sharing the trailer link!

| |  All I could think of was...Oh my! how disturbing and I would be happy to be one of those who really died. To be left alone and the only one alive is simply too terrible for me to think. HOwever, I would still watch the movie when it comes out and be disturbed in the next 2 hours. LOL!

| |  It's described as a "post-apocaluptic science fiction" movie.The story is based on the book I am Legend written by Richard Matheson.There have been several adaptations of the book including "Omega Man" starring Charles Heston and "The Last Man on Earth" starring Vincent Price. In the Vincent Price film people were turned into vampires but in "Omega Man" and the Will Smith version people just become mentally deranged. Sounds like 28 Days/Weeks Later to me and it should be good.
