how to chang a tag

I am new to this site so I am not to sure on what I am doing. So if someone can help on how to get the tag off or change it. I really don't want it on there

Once you have added a tag, you aren't able to change it. You can just hope that someone will come along and add some other tags that better describe your discussion. The one you added will still be there, but this way there will be others there as well.
