do you think that the oil companies should make such a big profit?

We know that the oil companies are making a killing of of up but do you think that they should be so greedy? I can understand making a profit but they have not put any back into building or repairing refineries. What can we do about it?

Not much we can do..but I think the government should be on them like flies on poop. It is disgusting, the oil companies, if they were smart would be looking for alternate energy sources, so they would be ready when the time comes, but they are just sitting back on the profits. IF they don't put x amount of money into research..they should be taxed double that amount.

ow about if we (the public) refused to get gas from the big oil companies? Would that not make them say that they would have to do something like dropping their prices?

oil price should be control because it is a basic need of every person in this planet. making profit out of a person need is cruel..
