schools out  | |  are you ready for your children to go back to school or for your children to start school are they getting on your nerves yet? lol Summer time is suppose to be fun for the children,well what about the parents LOL when did your children get out for the summer or is it the thing where children go to school all year round. Where I live they have from June to about the 21st of Aug. for their summer breaks,did you plan a vacation for them or do you send them to a summer camp. As a child growing up I remember my mom would always say "I CAN NOT WAIT TILL YOU KIDS GO BACK TO SCHOOL" exspecially if we were getting on her last nerve.

| | | | | | | | 1.  dragonokiefly (537) | 3 years ago |  My children have been out of school for 2 weeks now and yes, they are driving me crazy. But in all honesty it really isn't their fault. We have had only had a few days, maybe 3 if we are lucky, where it hasn't rained. I will be so happy when it stops so I can ship them all out the door to play until their heart's content.
I would give anything to have a year around school, I personally think summer break is too long just for the simple fact the get bored after a while. Our school year last from about August 15th or so until the Friday before Memorial Day. Well that is a normal school year, this year we had to make up 6 days due to a winter storm that left ice and bitter cold temps.
So ask me again in another month and I bet you my answer will be yes! I can not wait until they go back to school.

| | 2.  jeanena (824) | 3 years ago |  I say that all the time and then when they do go back to school I hate the rush of all the school activities.Our summer hasnt been like it is normally. I have 2 kids in drivers ed, I have had to drive them back and forth for that. This has been a pretty decent summer so far, we have spent nights in the motel where their dad is . And his job just moved again so we are leaving today to spend the night and fathers day with him.
