 Do you have air conditioning in your home? What temperature do you usually have it set on? We use to have window units in our house, but 2 summers ago we had Central Air installed. We usually have it set at 74 degrees. But I'm one of those people who always have cold feet. So I'm usually walking around the house with no shoes on but socks on my feet.

31.  razcal2267 (9491) | 3 years ago |  There are four air conditioners in my home. We have one in each bedroom and then one in the living room. I keep mine set between 72 and 75 degrees and on energy saver. The one in the living room is usually set to 10 and high so that it also cools off the kitchen. Like you I have cold feet so I also wear socks in the house in the summer because of the air conditioner being on.

There is a 1 housepower air conditioning unit in each room but we seldom switch it on, unless the weather is really hot that we cant really stand the heat, then only we will switch the air conditioning on. When I switch on the air conditioning unit in my room, I will set the temperature to 77F, which is equal to 25C. In Malaysia, we prefer to use C instead of F for our air conditioning temperature.:)

| 33. cdparazo (3945) | 3 years ago |  We have 4 bedrooms in our house and 3 of them have air conditioning. However, I just don't know its temperature because it has no digital indicator. It's temperature control only indicates, fan, low cool, hi-cool, super cool. I usually set mine at low cool because my a/c unit is quite big at 1.5hp. But at my sister's bedroom she always sets it at hi-cool since she only have a 3/4hp a/c.

34.  asmurthy (2009) | 3 years ago |  I don't use air conditioners. It is expensive to buy and it consumes a lot of power. The monthly bills are costly. I use air coolers, which are cheap and maintenance is easy, it serves the purpose of cooling the house.

When the day is one of those border line days when you have to decide if it's best to turn off the AC and open the house up, I will sometimes set the AC for 78F, and if the house warms up it will kick on which is the time to close the house up again.
